Does anyone know anything about Arvada, Golden, Nederland, Loveland and Frederick? How far from skiing/Denver etc.
Are these good places to live? Safe, things for singles to do?

Been there. Im neighbors to them by going south, I’m just north of Santa Fe, N.M. Those places are neat and yes you will have tons of things to do as single. (maybe too many things) But never the less here are some links that you can go to and check it out.

Born and Bred in Loveland….. Pretty cool. It’s getting huge now tons of malls etc…. Fort Collins is the place for singles and is about 10-15 away. That area is really cool…. but…. Is about 2-3-4 hours [depending on traffic] to the slopes. Approx 1 hour to Denver/DIA
Nederland is in the mountains and is cool…. but can be kinda… um…. unfriendly sometimes.
Golden is rad…. lots of jobs. And there is a whitewater play park in town.
If i had my ideal choice of places to live in Colorado and actually find a job it would be Salida. But that’s cause I’m a rafter/skier and both those are super close.
