Some houses have Central AC. Others may have Swamp Coolers. Some won’t have anything. You should check on your specific location.
In Colorado Springs, many homes do not have air conditioning since it is only needed a few days a year. I don’t believe on- base housing has it, but i have not been there in about 5 years.
